Family Traditions

I love this time of year. So much to see and do!! All the Holiday smells. Even though it is a busy time for us I enjoy all the hussle and bussle. With only 18 days till Christmas there is still so much to do, I'm falling behind this year!! Charlie askes every year why we have to do so much! Why do I do it ...for the excited and awe looks that come upon Codys face. Yes we have alot of family traditions we do every year. Writing letters to Santa the Sunday after Thanksgiving, putting the tree up the first Sat. in December. Our yearly special ornaments. We also string Fruitloop, Apple Jacks, Cranberries, paint pinecones with Peanut Butter and Birdseed and going to decorate a tree in the yard or at the park to feed the animals. Making a pot full of hot coco and going to McAdenville "Christmas Town USA" to walk thru and see the light while listening to the carolers. Getting together with "The Girls" to make Christmas Goodies while sharing a couple bottles of Duplin Christmas Eve and Naughty & Nice wine!!! Matching pjs from the Jammie Elf. Making a Cinnamon Coffee Cake for Jesus' birthday cake complete with a candle and singing Happy Birthday to him every Christmas morning. And the best Tradition by far is when our family elf Bernard comes back every year on Nov 16th and makes mischief every night till Santa picks him up on Christmas Eve to go back to the North Pole!! Oh yes I love this time of year. This is just a few of our family traditions...... What are some of your family traditions??? I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Holiday season!!

Hey all!!

Just a little about us. We have been living in North Carolina for the last 12 yrs. Additions to our family are our dog Buddy and cat Jag.

You could say my days are very busy. I am a home-schooling mom that also teaches scienceat a co-op every week. I have started a new business of scrapbooking for others. {you can check out my designs @ leavinglegacies on facebook} So if you cannot find me teaching Cody, making up lesson plans, or working between the hrs of 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. I will most likely be cleaning the house and doing laundry! LOL

When I have the time I enjoy reading, scrapbooking MY photos{as of right now I have over 12,000 photos that need to be scrapbooked}, photography, and crocheting!

Check back soon as you will see our many adventures of home-schooling/family life! ;) I hope to be able to read and learn all about everyone else!!
